The BIG Picture!

A Techtite Weekly Feature

[...back, because you demanded it! -Ed.]

The latest "Big Picture" is:

"She's Baaaaack!"

(Bloodrayne 2, 2004; a whopping 1280x960 BIG Picture!)

click picture for the full-size (BIG) photo!

Bloodrayne has become sort of a cult hit among gamers who like the way it plays not unlike a Buffy/Angel hybrid tale, of a half-human vampire female. The new game is out for all major video game systems, with a PC demo currently available, which is actually pretty good by the way, and should be in stores for Windows users in early 2005.

The following screen capture is the second highest graphics mode possible on a PC, with all the bells and whistles turned on; reflections, high quality textures, fog, special lighting; you name it. Note the way Bloodrayne's eyes are tinted in this mode, reflecting their green color when she's facing a light source here. The bodies behind her are enemies who tried to keep us from capturing this photo. Those poor fools.

Not much else to report except that we promise to post the X-Boxreview soon! No sooner did we get this game on our shelves then Halo 2 is out, then PC's Half Life 2, and on and on. It's been a good month's worth of gaming, but it's pretty hectic for reviews. Then again; you really didn't need us to tell you to buy these games, did you now? I didn't think so. Enjoy the latest Big Picture. Next week; the first Half Life 2 pics!
