A few words about copyrights, and other technical aspects of this web site...

1) About Pictures at Techtite.com...

Some rendered artwork at Techtite.com is created by the webmaster of Techtite.com, himself. This includes title graphics, The Dot & Slash icons, "The Golden Otto Award," and of course the Techtite ratings system. With affordable rendering products, like Bryce 3D, Ray Dream Studio, Poser, and Micrographx Instant 3D, the hope is to create as pleasant of an online experience as possible. In addition, some artwork is offered via Amazon.com, via Techtite's associates links to that online store.

However, personally-made artwork is not as easy when reviewing products by other companies. Obviously, the best addition of any product review is a thumbnail sample of what the product offers, and perhaps a scan of the box/cover art (to help the buyer know what to look for). Such screen grabs and digitized captures are kept as small as possible, for space concerns, as well as to respect the rights of the owners of the product reviewed. In short, pictures of products by parties other than Techtite.com are used only for the purpose of review, and are not meant to imply any association with Techtite.com and that product, or the owners of that product's copyrights. If any picture of any product in any way offends the designers of that product, tell us in a letter (if you choose e-mail; add the subject heading, "attention: Techtite.com webmaster") and the picture will be removed immediately. Please include the address of the specific review/page you want edited.

2) The Obligatory Software Piracy Warning

Techtite.com always reviews the actual, off-the-shelf version of a product; the review is not just of an advance beta-copy, and is probably bought from the same stores you go to yourself! The only request from us, in return, is that you do the same, and, if interested in it, buy the product from whatever store you prefer (Techtite.com even offers a handy link to order each product, if you wish). DO NOT request "free," and/or illegal copies of any DVD, game, or other products from Techtite; such requests will be deleted and ignored. You like it, BUY it!
