The Top Ten WORST Sci-Fi Series Blunders Of All Time!

Obligatory Cheap Title Page Collage

A Techtite Feature Story, By Steve Akyuz

We love sci-fi. We love intelligent sci-fi. We even love campy sci-fi. Yes, we know the difference between "horrible" sci-fi and those amusing science fiction yarns from the 1950's. We also know good from garbage, however, so we felt the need to distinguish the two in a new Feature story.

Every Top Ten List needs rules, however. For one; nothing prior to 1968. Before anyone actually set foot on the moon, few people even knew what outer space even was. If they "winged it" with a wild guess in the 1950's, who are we to criticize? Second: the series had to have some glimmer of hope that it might have succeeded. Sure most syndicated shows sucked, but who even knew they were on the air? Third, and most important: only one-season wonders qualify as a "blunder," really. If a series was able to get enough morons interested so that it lasted three or more seasons, well, that isn't exactly a "blunder." Oh yeah; a whole lot of overrated crap dodged a bullet with that rule. It's almost enough to make us want to make a "most overrated sci-fi crap" list. Except...not.

That being said, may we present the lowest of the low. The most mistaken of mistakes. The most dire of diatribes. Let's get started...

Our List Begins With: A Tiny Glimmer Of Light...Literally.
