Why Otto?
Much like many awards that name the award after an
icon of some kind; the golden ottos are named in memory of "Evil Otto,"
the little smiley face in the arcade game Bezerk who would appear
whenever the game became "idle," Lawsuits? We don't need no steenkin' Lawsuits. Before the makers of the classic video game "Bezerk" get their lawyers in a tizzy, let's be clear: no direct affiliation with Golden Otto and "Evil Otto" is implied. Mama Golden just named her boy "Otto" because she loved the game. It also makes for a cool nickname for an online awards "show." Enjoy!

A Techtite Feature ArticleThere were a lot of changes in entertainment the past year, for better or for worse. Effects were given a major jumpstart via James Cameron's Avatar, while even Disney Pixar's latest offering, Up, was a slight departure from anything they ever did before (a flying...house?). Even comedies were slightly different. How? They were funny!
