By the time you read this, two big names in action-drama television will have had their series finales: Lost, and 24. Don't worry, spoiler police: these finales will not be revealed here! However, whether you loved or hated how those series ended, one glaring fact remains: while there are some rare exceptions, many series finales are, frankly, not very good at all. In fact: many finales were downright horrible!

Such a list, in fact, cannot be confined to just 10. What follows are the top 13 "unluckiest" series finales in TV history. From "it was all a dream" to "the whole town blew up," we have seen it all. Unfortunately.

Now for some ground rules. One: actual series finales only. If a series was cancelled before even a proper "epilogue" could be given, that's no fault of the series. Two: the ending has to have been not just "debatably" bad, though actually bad. If a series ended on a happy note though you still didn't like it: that's still no fault of the series.
