An Annual Feature Article by Techtite
Every entertainment-oriented web site needs an awards "show" of its own. Welcome to Techtite.com's; the Golden Ottos! Why "Golden Ottos?"
Back in 1999, all ratings at Techtite.com were offered via a scale of one to five After two years online, the need
arose for an annual awards feature at Techtite.com. The problem: every attempt

Of course, we couldn't use a "smiley" to rate video games, and
still be taken seriously, so we preferred to call them "Ottos,"
in honor of "Evil Otto," the indestructible "smiley"
from the classic arcade
game Berserk. He was a spherical droid who would pummel your
character --always with a smile!-- if you stayed motionless on one screen
