About The "Departments" Pages:

Every decent publication has it's departments; letters, commentaries, and regularly updated pages. The following are elaborate explanations of Techtite.com's :

My Two Bits. The original Techtite --and the man behind the $payment$ for this web site!-- uses this as his Editorial Page. Check it on occasion for his I-M-H-O comments du jour!

Letters! Sure, your opinions, and input, count. Send 'em in!

Dot's & Slashes. Every decent publication has a quick-and-dirty look at goings-on in that field of entertainment; Entertainment Weekly has its "Hot Sheet," TV Guide has its "Cheers & Jeers," etc. Well, in honor of the latter, this web site has "Dot's & Slashes" ; a periodically updated web page devoted to the (minor) best and worst goings-on in cyber-entertainment, at a glance. Yes, we also take suggestions for additions to this ongoing list...

What Went Wrong? Good question. While some products are just plain trash, there's often the product with an outrageously promising future...yet its success went downhill like an avalanche. This periodically updated page overviews such products, in all genres of entertainment (TV, movies, games). If you're a game designer or tv/movie producer, still scratching your head why that "sure sell" didn't sell, this column will give some thoughts...

Tech Talk (another new feature, 2006) Basically this is a Q & A page due to all the questions received via the Letters page.

This site has also had its share of departments through the years that have long since been scrapped. They remain online, however, so you can have a look at them and see what these departments used to look like. If enough letters demand their return, they just might!

The Bargain Bin Binge This department was scrapped for the simple reason that "bargain" these days basically means used! However, not too long ago some really great games were discounted, and this page alerted you to them. When you wanted an older review of a once-high-priced item that was reduced in priced to under $20, here it was.

Retro Gaming! Originally intended as a salute to '80s and '90s gaming, it was concluded that a review of very old games wasn't very practical (or profitable to the site). So instead it was decided to offer Re-Reviews (or what Techtite likes to call "RE-Views") of games and DVDs, in each specific review page (DVD, PC Games, TV Shows, Video Games...)

The Tech Blog You know; to be brutally honest I look back on this page and can't remember what I had in mind here. Everyone seemed to have a "blog" of sorts, and around 2006, Techtite.com had one as well, albeit very briefly! It was basically a place where little snippets of opinions and info (or both) pop up, that couldn't fit anywhere else.

Techtite TV and Techtite News. For a long while this site also had a weekly news page, as well as a weekly "TV review" page, which reviewed shows episode-by-episode. Due to less and less manpower and expenses, however, both were scrapped. These are the two most likely departments to return, however, whenever it might be possible...
