Techtite's Letters!

About These Letters::

All letters will be responded to, either online here, via e-mail, or both. It doesn't matter whether you fill in the handy-dandy boxes on the offered form, or send a personal e-mail. However, in my experience, people are either more fond of one or the other method, so both letters options are offered here.

Why no "snail mail" address offered? Because while junk e-mail is easy enough to delete, junk mail itself is a pain. It's a shame that I need to refrain from any publicly posted snail-mail address at risk of being put on endless mailing lists for unsolicited mail, though that's usually what happens. Sorry.

The Commercial Sucks...But Who Plays The Wife?

On the H & R block commercial I was wondering if you knew who the wife was? I know I have seen her before but I can't remember where please let me know if you can. Thank You

Ryan, Sandusky

My sources tell me that the actress is Judith Hoag. I did further research and after looking at her "Other Works" page at the IMDb, the actress photo seems to match. I'd have to make a side by side comparison to make sure, though I'd say it was her.

Speaking of that commercial; I don't know if H&R Block made a good or a bad choice keeping this ad on the air. On the one hand nobody can stop talking about it! On the other hand nobody seems very keen on joining H&R Block if their ad is so annoying. Even TV Guide.com calls it "The Worst Commercial on TV," with added gripes from other sites here and here. Whoever plays the wife in that commercial had better choose a better commercial next time!
