About These Letters:: All letters will be responded to, either online here, via e-mail, or both. It doesn't matter whether you fill in the handy-dandy boxes on the offered form, or send a personal e-mail. However, in my experience, people are either more fond of one or the other method, so both letters options are offered here. Why no "snail mail" address offered? Because while junk e-mail is easy enough to delete, junk mail itself is a pain. It's a shame that I need to refrain from any publicly posted snail-mail address at risk of being put on endless mailing lists for unsolicited mail, though that's usually what happens. Sorry. ----------------- Feel free to contribute. As always, review submissions are accepted! ------------------ |

If Big Brother (8) Was REALLY Watching... Thank you for your brilliant smack down of Big Brother 8. I was beginning to think I was in a world of robots who all loved this horrible season. It just was so evel [sic], if viewers catch the joke. I'm not even sure I'll watch the next season...though if I do, I'll read your review of it, that's for sure! Beth, USA Thanks. I'll be there to review Big Brother 9 if it happens. I just hope they've (CBS) learned their mistake.
Halo 3 Legendary Edition Flawed? Speaking about Halo 3; I just got the game's high priced collector's edition (the Legendary one) and I love it with one exception. Didn't it occur to anyone to make the inside DVD game "case" wide enough for all DVDs? They have enough room for three DVD cases, only they added a fourth. Couldn't they have made room for four, then? I'm just wondering what you guys did. Did you ditch the bonus CD or is there something I'm missing. Mister Chief, Nebraska I agree that the Legendary Edition is cool with one exception: the guys who made the included DVDs used two DVD cases; the designers of the helmet-with-hidden-DVD-case, only built it for three. So suddenly there's no easy way to make the case hold Halo, Halo 2, Halo 3, and the bonus CD. We found a way, but fanboys be warned: it's slight "blasphemy!" Place Halo (the original game) in a slim DVD case. It's pretty easy to buy a pack of them for a few bucks, and they're nice to have around. Print a new "slim" label for Halo (1) or just cut/trim the original label. Then you have room for all four discs. Yeah!
Best and Worst, though...slightly. Just a quick question. I noticed some shows you gave high marks for 2007 seemed to get slight ribbing, while other shows you praised and made it onto your "unlucky" list. While I agree with most of what you wrote/typed, I'm curious what it was that made one show make it on one list and not the other. Anonymous, Location Unknown Sometimes it's not a matter of shows that suck, as much as shows that might be "unlucky." I'd like nothing better than to see, say, Pushing Daisies renewed for a second season. Based on the promising shows ABC has cancelled in the past few years: I don't see that happening, unless one or two slight flaws are fixed. Other shows sound very intriguing, and make it onto the Most Intriguing list...though with my luck lately, they'll probably be cancelled first!
