Techtite's Letters!

About These Letters::

All letters will be responded to, either online here, via e-mail, or both. It doesn't matter whether you fill in the handy-dandy boxes on the offered form, or send a personal e-mail. However, in my experience, people are either more fond of one or the other method, so both letters options are offered here.

Why no "snail mail" address offered? Because while junk e-mail is easy enough to delete, junk mail itself is a pain. It's a shame that I need to refrain from any publicly posted snail-mail address at risk of being put on endless mailing lists for unsolicited mail, though that's usually what happens. Sorry.

Enterprise begins to look Enterprising!

I know this may be a bit late though I was just sending "my two bits" for your article about your 12 suggested improvements to Enterprise. At least I think this is an old article because I saw the finale just the other night and they seem to have resolved most of the flaws you mentioned. I would have said the same thing about The Next Generation at the end of its second season. I mean sure after Locutus of Borg people say it was a classic series though by season two it probably had a dozen ripped off plots from the original series and maybe two good episodes and a whole lot of bombs. This isn't even getting into the so-called season two finale which was just Riker in a coma dreaming about past episodes. Then season three came around and poof look how quickly sci-fi history is made! Can't wait until next season of Enterprise to see if lighting strikes twice.

A hopeful Trekker, Texas

From the onset, I've had high hopes for Enterprise. It's still got potential, yet hasn't "boldly gone" anywhere yet. Let's hope season three for Enterprise is as fortuitous as it was for TNG.

The Practice...of being foolish

Given your very strong opinions against The Practice in your "Techtite TV" area, I was wondering what you thought of ABC's decision to renew the series. My opinion is simply, make it stop! Make it STOP! What'd you think about that?

Matthew

Agreed. ABC execs need a serious drug test handed out, if they truly thought it was wise to cancel flawed-yet-promising shows like Push, Nevada yet keep their aged Practice. What's worse is the news that over half the original cast won't be coming back! That's like saying you can do another season of Simpsons without Homer, Bart, Marge, or Lisa. Yeah, I know: Simpsons is a cartoon...though hasn't The Practice become its own two-dimensional cartoon, over two seasons ago? The fans have spoken: cancel the show. Now.
