About
These Letters::
All letters will be responded to, either
online here, via e-mail, or both. It doesn't matter whether you fill in
the handy-dandy boxes on the offered form, or send a personal e-mail. However, in my
experience, people are either more fond of one or the other method, so
both letters options are offered here.
Why no "snail mail" address
offered? Because while junk e-mail is easy enough to delete, junk mail
itself is a pain. It's a shame that I need to refrain from any publicly
posted snail-mail address at risk of being put on endless mailing lists
for unsolicited mail, though that's usually what happens. Sorry.

Hey; We live for
sidebar sidenotes!
Just a sidenote on your sidebar
about Jennifer Garner's appearance on Conan: Someone wrote that it was
"questionable" for Conan to correct Jen's grammar on the
show. May I remind you that she is the one who brought it on herself
when she -- in a haughtily and condescendingly manner -- corrected
him. She was obviously trying to embarrass him and pass herself off as
someone smarter than she is. I applaud Conan. Celebrities should be
called on their rudeness and ill manners, not glorified for them. If
she couldn't deal with the consequences of her unnecessary comment,
she should have kept her pouty lips shut.

The sidebar about Jen's Late
Show appearance was not so
much opinion as a little side news report. Message board patrons here and
there called the moment "questionable" so we reported as such,
though yeah...we disagree too. It was actually pretty funny.
What Went Wrong With
Electra Woman 2001? Nothing!
I just read the piece on Electra Woman
and Dyna Girl 2001. Did you ever see it? It's possibly the funniest
thing I've ever seen! "Smallville-type edge"??? NOT! It's
really down & dirty comedy. At one point a guy points a shotgun at
Electra Woman and she says, "Oh, please! I've had bigger things
up my..." and then she's abruptly interrupted by Dyna Girl. It
was PERFECT for the generation that grew up watching that crap and now
has a really twisted sense of humor. The only thing that went wrong
was that they didn't pick it up.
Hugh Bond , Chicago
Though we did indeed see the
pilot episode --which is sold on eBay from time to time-- it's important to
note how many people did not. How does one describe a sitcom plot like
this...? Due to its popularity, we felt a Smallville reference was
acceptable. It's the best we could come up with.
