Gabriel Knight: Sins of the Fathers
(Sierra On-Line, 1993)
This was one of the last of the best Sierra adventures; a
fantastic achievement by author Jane Jensen. The story was equally
gripping : Gabriel Knight is only now discovering his family
legacy as a demon hunter, which he must use against an evolving
evil in New Orleans. Cool game, cool opening theme music, awesome
puzzles, and perfect voice acting by the likes of Tim Curry in the title
role, and Leah Remini (now of "King of Queens" fame) as his
trustworthy yet wise-cracking assistant. Did I mention you get to fight
the dark forces of evil in an adventure game? Count me in.
