Manhunter: New York

(Sierra On-Line, 1988)

An amusing game concept --although with very poorly drawn graphics-- this set you in a future New York, ruled by aliens. You are one of the ManHunters; a person assigned to hunt down humans not obeying the law, and act accordingly. Soon, however, you see you're working for the wrong team, and help the good guys defeat this alien evil that has taken over Earth. Much like the original Star Wars, you're only able to help a little, though at least a big chunk of villainy is defeated, and New York is saved. All told, it was a fun game...if you can get beyond the graphics.

Rating : Large Crater.
