Monty Python's "The Meaning of Life" [adventure]

(7th Level/Panasonic, 1997)

The best review of this game is not unlike a review of the actual movie : "Nice, yet not half as hilarious and fun as Monty Python and the Holy Grail." Although it plays a lot like that prior Monty Python game title, and is even spread across two CDs (instead of just one), its jokes are not quite as effective. Built in "mini games" are similar in comparison : A parody of the You Don't Know Jack trivia game series --here, jovially titled "You don't know John"-- can't compare to the Holy Grail game's parody of Tetris, called "Bring out 'yer dead!" However, the game was still amusing at times, leading to a marginal thumbs- up.

Rating : Small Crater.
