Quest for Glory II: Trial by Fire

(Sierra On-Line, 1990)
One
of the best of the best of the best of the best in graphic adventures
--and understandably on Techtite's list of Top
50 Multimedia Classics-- this game was perfect!
Music was as good as the original game title, as were the puzzles
and storyline. The major thrill, however, was the number of heroic
deeds requested by "you," the main character. Most
such problems to solve were also quite unique, including a woman
cursed to be a starving tree in the desert (you give her hope
again) and four elemental demons (none are any match for you!).
By game's end, the finale outshines even the game itself, with
a ceremony held in your honor. Each character you met says something
about your deeds throughout the game, praising your actions.
"This man has honor!...This man has compassion!...This man
has courage!" Awesome game.
