Spellcasting 201: The Sorcerer's Appliance

(Legend Entertainment, 1991)

This sequel to the surprise hit, Spellcasting 101, placed you in the second college year of "sorcerer" Ernie Eaglebeak. He must now perform various tasks to be eligible for the frat house he's trying to become a member of. In addition, he must uncover the truth behind this possibly deadly "sorcerer's appliance"...whatever it is. However, a finale that seems cut-and-pasted from the first game was a bit disappointing. Puzzles might also not have been as inspired as the orignal game, though how many game sequels are?

Rating : Small Crater.
