Space Quest: The Sarien Encounter
(Sierra On-Line, 1986)
 One of the first non-King's Quest
adventure series attempted by Sierra On-Line, this was a humorous
parody of classic science fiction. A lowly janitor must first
flee his invaded space ship, then find a way to survive on a
desolate planet not unlike Star Wars' Tatooine. From there he
must find the location of the enemy, find a ship to take him
there, and defeat the villain who destoyed his vessel. Several
cute puzzles and inside jokes, including an amusing alien cantina,
add to the fun. This was truly a fond game memory; a fine addition
to Techtite's choice list, of Top
50 Multimedia Classics.
