Question of the Week #1:
Is Anyone at Techtite.com surprised at the first bootee...?:
No. Sorry. Question of the Week
#2: Should Rudy Have Been Booted?
Technically? Maybe. Blame his fatigue on the tainted water he drank or the
lack of food, but Rudy was in dire need of rest. That's nothing to be
ashamed of; at the same age, none of these yin-yangs will probably be able
to walk without a cane, let alone do what he did here. He should be proud.
For fans of Rudy's, it sucks he left the game early, though. It truly does. Question of the Week
#3: Should Jenna have stayed home in the first place?
Being home probably was very stressful. It's possible she wasn't able to
stop and think about what was happening to her and her family with her job,
chores, and other daily duties facing her at the same time. Then she was on
a beach where all she could do without a TV or a computer was sit and think,
and it dawned on her; her mom needed her home. It makes total sense. Question of the Week
#4:
Is Anyone at Techtite.com surprised at the fourth bootee...?:
To a point, no. Rob C. has a bad reputation for double and triple crosses
thanks to his antics over at Survivor
Thailand. Even up against a caustic personality like Alicia, he was the
least likely to be a strong teammate of the two. So; bye to Rob C. Question of the Week
#5: Did Richard's Exhibitionism Go Too Far? To
see how ready his tribe was to boot him off; yes. It's one thing to be naked
in an ocean or during a race; it's another thing to just drop your shorts
for something as simple as a balance-beam walkathon (of sorts). There's also
the little matter with Sue, but based on next week's preview, that will wait
until later... Question of the Week
#6: Sexually Harassed, or Just very, very embarrassing?:
Make that: very, very, very, very, very embarrassing! Richard
"accidentally" rub against Sue, while he's naked, on a thin
balance beam was pretty icky. However, as biased as it sounds the man is
openly gay; how much can an openly gay man sexually harass a straight woman?
However, Sue was embarrassed and humiliated and furthermore quit the game in
disgust. So, the answer is somewhere down the middle. It was very embarrassing,
but harassment I'll leave for the ongoing message board debates on the
matter. This is one question that cannot be answered in a mere
"sidebar" such as this one. Question of the Week
#7: Is it Smart to Boot the MVP so close to a merge?:
For the S-MVP (Second Most Valuable Player), yes. However, that would be
Ethan, and Ethan allied with Colby. It was stupid of Shii-Ann, Jerri, et al.
to boot Colby, because their only chance in this game was to ride on his
coattails until the final four, and see-what-happens. Now, they are unable
to be friends with the new MVP (Ethan), and have targets on their backs as
unreliable teammates. This is one bad strategy, guys. Question of the Week
#8: What happened to Ethan...?:
With this week being Ethan's vote off, one can't help but ask what happened
to him since Survivor Africa. At that point he seemed like the first decent
guy to actually win on this show; here, in the "all star" season
he seemed way out of his element. It's no big deal; just worth saying. Question of the Week
#9: Was Lex Wise to Boot Jerri...?:
Even without jumping ahead to next week to be certain: sorry, the answer is
no. Love or hate Jerri, she was the perfect ally on all fronts. It also
would've been smarter to take your sole, best opportunity to boot Amber from
a very powerful alliance with Rob, than to simply assume he'd invite you
into such a loyal alliance, with open arms. We'll see the truth soon enough
next week, though... Question of the Week
#10: Would Lex have played it any different?:
Say what you will about Rob going against his "promise" to Lex,
and booting him first thing he could, even after Lex kept Amber in the game
as promised. The truth is; Lex wouldn't have played it any other way. Lex
had already had his share of voting off Ethan, among others, and telling
them how it wasn't personal, just a game, and they were the biggest threat.
Well, when the tribes merged, and it was Rob's alliance against Lex's...who
would you vote off first? Lex. It was just one of those things. Question of the Week
#11: What happened to Kathy?:
In Marquesas, Kathy seemed to vulnerable; here, she seemed pretty obnoxious.
Maybe it's the different climate or the difference in perspective or a
difference in game strategy, or hey let's be frank; it may just be simple
differences in video editing. Be all this as it may Kathy seemed very
annoying this season. Maybe she got up on the wrong side of the beach
each morning, huh? Question of the Week
#12: Do you think she knew...?:
Once Shii-Ann won immunity, Alicia seemed particularly steamed at Shii-Ann's
bwa-ha-ha attitude about being immune to being voted off. Let's be fair:
Shii-Ann is annoying, though she had every right to be going yeah-hah at
that point. So why the demand from Alicia to take it down a notch...?
Probably because the prior reward challenge had her voted second only to
Shii-Ann, as the one the other players felt was least deserving to be an All
Star. Yeah; she probably saw it coming from a mile away. Question of the Week
#13: Shhhh, Ann..?:
Maybe it was just a trick of the torch light, though it certainly looked
like at least one person, when writing Shii-Ann's name down, jovially
misspelled it "SHH-ANN." Just worth mentioning because had someone
done that (or two, or three), all the viewing audience can say about the
misspelling is: WORD! I can admire an attitude to go out fighting, as much
as anyone can. Shii-Ann took it to the extreme, as if to say ha ha you jerks
don't have anything on me. If that was true, why did you get voted off,
girl? Question of the Week
#14: What was that glance for...?
Take a wild guess. It was amusing, though, to see that parting glance of Big
Tom, when he left the tribal council, staring back at Rob, just long enough
to see him actually look back. Question of the Week
#15: How fair is a 'America's Tribal Council' Twist?
While it's unlikely anyone at this point would ask what is fair on a show
such as this, the truth is that a vote for a second million dollar winner,
in this particular season, was perfectly fair. For one thing: this season
was Survivor All-Stars. This was the season 18 former contestants had a
second chance. It's not out of character for the show to allow the audience
to choose an additional million dollar winner, given those parameters. In
fact, it makes perfect sense.

Survivor (8): ALL STARS!
Once Again: The Winners, The Cheaters, and (when it
airs), The
Finale...

Just when you think series producer Mark
Burnett has met his match online, we wind up being punk'd again. Yes,
someone posted a "spoiler" online, right up to the final two.
Yes, the spoiler oddly proved to be right for the first four episodes. Yes, we thought this meant that posting a review of this season
was a fool's folly...so we didn't. Then the spoiler was proven wrong, as early as episode
5...so here we are again. Back to work! On to reviewing
episode-to-episode!
As always:
every season of reality TV is only as good as the contestants. Here's the latest

Tina. Best
One-Line Summary : So far, so good, "All Stars"... My Comments:
I don't want to reopen old comments about old contestants, so just
read my comments about Survivor: The Australian
Outback, and leave my Tina comments at that. As for this show, her
past came back to haunt her. Nobody is going to trust a former
millionaire-winner of the game who won largely because of a
much-publicized promise to co-finalist Colby that she would buy him a
motorbike if she won. Heh-heh, the joke was on poor Colby: the winner
buying gifts for any other contestant is not allowed in the rules, nor any
deal to share the final million dollars, in any fashion. Not that such a
deal was shrewdness on Tina's part per se; it just makes her an easy
target. Booted Off:
1st High Point : Ethan allied with
her; given Ethan's track record on the series, that's saying a lot. Low Point:
...not that you can say anything else good about the first bootee, even a
former grand-prize winner. Rating :
Near Miss
(which based on our former grade of
Tina, is actually an improvement! Good for you, Tina! Way to go!)
Rudy. Best
One-Line Summary : ...as I was saying; it was bound to get back
to "boot off the person we least want
booted" sooner or later! My Comments:
Who wanted Rudy gone? I didn't want Rudy gone. Ethan, for all his
niceness on Survivor Africa, has
become a little bit of a jerk; boot him! Rupert and Rudy would seem to
agree. Too bad the rest of the tribe didn't. Booted Off:
2nd High Point : When Rupert likes a
guy, it's even more clear everyone else should to. Low Point:
...not that he didn't look a bit exhausted the episode he was booted off.
I guess dehydration is bound to hit even the toughest of men, eh? Rating :

Jenna M. Best
One-Line Summary : Not "booted," but just to be on
track... My Comments:
I don't think Jenna was wrong to have gone on the show with her mom
sick, nor do I think it was wrong for her to have gone back home, after
having a "feeling" she needed her. Jumping ahead, it's important
to note she was right: as the epilogue of this Survivor episode mentioned,
her mom died eight days after this episode was filmed. It just makes it
all the more sad that this had to happen to a contestant, on
"live" reality TV, no less. If Jenna doesn't return for the
finale reunion show, there should be no harsh words spoken. I'm sure
everyone's hearts are there for Jenna and her mom in a time like this. Booted Off:
3rd High Point : To see this side of
Jenna really makes one reconsider our opinions of her during Survivor
Amazon, which with her little strip shows with Heidi and her following
Playboy nude pictorial, wasn't too favorable. Low Point:
...though one can still argue that had she loved her mom this much, she
shouldn't have left in the first place...especially when she had already
won the million on Survivor Amazon. Rating :
Large
Crater
Rob C. Best
One-Line Summary : No surprises...except for Rob C. My Comments:
The louder whine always gets the pacifier. When Alicia started locking
horns with whomsoever ticked her off this time around, that person should
have just made nice and kept their trap shut. Well, Rob isn't much of a
trap shutter, so he became persona non grata in Alicia's eyes. Trouble is,
as I say; Alicia was the louder battle cry (or is it a whine?), so when it
came between one or the other, contestants always feel that the louder
voice is the stronger player...as stupid as that may be. Sorry, Rob. Booted Off:
4th High Point : Not half as annoying
as he was during his back-stabbing shenanigans of Survivor Amazon. Low Point:
...not that we will miss him, thanks to our very strong memories of...Survivor
Amazon. Rating :
Near Miss
Richard. Best
One-Line Summary : With every piece of good news, a
"spoiler" must be surrendered... My Comments:
Game ON. No sooner did everyone think that the spoiler online was
valid --of "all" cast-offs, right to the finale-- then suddenly
episode 5 tears that theory to shreds. Jerri didn't go after all; it was
Richard Hatch, the guy the spoiler claimed wouldn't go until the tribes
merged, complete with a comment from Rupert at the time. Well, that didn't
happen; Jerri's still in the game, and Richard is gone! Then again, is
this a big surprise? His constant "ooh a competition gotta take off
my swim trunks" nonsense was too much for even the ladies to handle,
let alone the straight men. I think anyone would agree that there's a time
and a place for ehxibitionism. A TV game show airing at 8:00 Thursdays is
not such a time. Booted Off: 5th High Point :
Much like Tina; not half as annoying as he was when we first saw
him... Low Point:
...not that we'll regret seeing him go either. Rating :
Near Miss
Sue. Best
One-Line Summary : No matter what she went through in the prior
episode, this episode sucked even worse. My Comments:
Sue has time to think about naked Richard hatch rubbing against her
during the prior episode/day's immunity challenge, and she concludes that
she didn't like it one little bit. Between the eating mollusks to survive,
the dehydration, the admittedly miserable company she's forced to sleep in
the same tent with --the sort of folk who are all "Look at me I was
once on survivor BOW TO ME"-- coupled with the fact that her husband
will be watching a naked fat gay guy intentionally rubbing against her
during an immunity challenge; what's someone to conclude? Exactly: Sue has
one last taste of host Jeff Probst's "we had a 'little
incident'" chats prior to the next reward challenge, and she's had
enough; she's out. Understandable? Absolutely. "Good TV"? Not at
all, which is rather crass to bring up, I know, but at its core this is a
TV show and in the long run, dragging Susan's woes for 60 full minutes was
not a good move on this series' part, and seeing as how this is at its
very core a TV show, it's important to note that this episode sucked.
Admittedly, I didn't like Sue much in the first season (or Richard, for
that matter), but she didn't deserve to go out like this. Voted out
unanimously by her tribe, perhaps, but not like this. Booted Off:
6th High Point :
Her outburst to Jeff Probst prior to quitting the game was an
interesting taste of what divides "reality TV" from just another
show. Low Point: Although every
reality TV show needs its antagonistic, cynical, often-complaining
character, it makes it hard to sympathize with such contestants no matter
what their reasons for leaving the series are. Rating :
Near Miss
Colby. Best
One-Line Summary : Ranger Boob No Longer. My Comments:
Good news for Colby; unlike his first
appearance on this series, he is no longer considered "Ranger
Boob." See, in that second season of the series, he and he alone was
the reason for his losing the million dollars in the final two, when he
put himself up against underhanded Tina, and not Keith, who flew totally
over the radar, and therefore few jury members liked. Colby apparently saw
a part of his own mother in Tina (sorry, Colby's mom; I'm sure he didn't
mean to!), and in the end, he was hoodwinked. However, that was his own
fault; this boot off wasn't. He played the game perfectly, and when he was
flimflammed by his tribe, few could've seen it coming. After all; in order
to flimflam him, they had to ally with Jerri and Shi-Ann. Yes: Jerri...and
Shi-Ann!!! Booted Off: 7th High Point :
Tina was booted before Colby could show us if he learned anything or not.
Low Point: Tina was booted before he could show us if he learned anything or not! Rating :

Ethan. Best
One-Line Summary : What happened since Africa? My Comments:
Once again, Jerri dodges a bullet and Ethan is the one to go, not
Jerri. Or Shi-Ann. Or Kathy, at this point, who really isn't the sweet
misunderstood woman from Survivor
Marquesas she used to be. Speaking of which, in all fairness: what
happened to Ethan? Maybe it's just me but he seemed a bit off his game
this time around. When he won the million dollars in Survivor Africa,
everyone (Techtite.com included)
heralded it as the first worthy, enjoyable winner of the game. So maybe he
was just off the wrong side of the bed this time around. That or tricky
editing techniques. Very tricky indeed. Booted Off:
8th High Point : At least he got to
voice the truth, that Jerri does not deserve the million; a message that
may very well stick, until her imminent vote off... Low Point:
Not as many moments that made us like Ethan this time around, as there
were in Africa. Was it all video trickery, to make us miss him less
halfway into the season? Rating :
Small
Crater
Jerri. Best
One-Line Summary : Oddly enough, she lasted the same amount of
time as she did in Survivor Australia!
My Comments:
In a crazy world, Shi-Ann was actually wise to stick with Jerri for so
long. She is many things, true, but she's not a double-crosser. She may
stab you in the back to get to the million, sure, but unlike some people
(and it's become a long list, hasn't it?) she won't tell you one thing to
your face, then turn around and do something else. Well okay maybe she
would. The truth is she left with a fair share of grace about the whole
thing, when her tribe --which lost yet again!-- chose her to leave,
instead of Amber. Yeah, Amber; as in, the girl from the opposing tribe who
in a tribal mix-up was told to stay with the opposing tribe from now on.
Amber, as in: their one ace in the hole to chop the numbers of the
opposing team, finally, no matter how much you think Amber and Rob
M's scenes together look cute. Yet Rob made a remark to Lex, like
something out of The Godfather, to watch Amber's back and he'd watch his,
and well, nothing personal Jerri, but goodbye. Man, if Colby and Ethan
didn't feel worse yet, they obviously do now. They left before Jerri, only
to have them decide to boot Jerri for Rob M.'s girlfriend Amber. To each
their own sense of "strategy"... Booted Off:
9th High Point : More tolerable than
she was in Australia, which is to say she wasn't as high on my list as she
was back then to be booted off... Low Point:
...not that anyone couldn't see her inevitable vote off coming... Rating :
Small

Lex. Best
One-Line Summary : The "Rob-father's" first big
victim. My Comments:
Around this stage of the game, Rob M. is in charge. So powerful is
Rob's alliance, and tribe, he was able to convince Lex to keep Amber in
the game instead of a fellow tribe mate! See; due to a tribal twist, Rob's
alliance teammate Amber was sent off to Lex's tribe. Rob gives a "You
take care of her, I'll take care of you" comment to Lex, and Lex
believes him. D'oh! No sooner is Rob reunited with Amber at a tribal
merge, then the truth is out: Amber is part of Rob's alliance, Lex
cannibalized his own alliance to keep Rob's alliance strong, and now that
there's no need to keep Amber safe, there's no need for Lex in the game.
However, let's be fair: Lex had his share of having to boot off people in
the past episodes, simply because it was "part of the game."
From Jerri just last episode, to Ethan, and others; Lex was no stranger to
having to boot someone off just because it's good strategy. It matters
little if the next person to go, strategically, was Lex. If Lex was in
Rob's shoes, he would probably have done the same thing Rob did in the
end. Booted Off:
10th High Point : Until his boot-off,
Lex was in charge of his team. Low Point:
Then the tribes merged, and a stronger alliance voted him off. Rating

Kathy. Best
One-Line Summary : Lex's right hand gal...and Lex was voted off
last week. My Comments:
Much like Ethan some weeks back, I really didn't think Kathy projected
herself as well as she did in the original Survivor season she starred in
(which, in Kathy's case, was Survivor
Marquesas). While she seemed sympathetic that season, in this
season she seemed completely without sympathy herself. I think the
defining moment was when, after Susan Hawk left because of emotional
angst, Kathy said in a video confessional how insensitive Susan was being
to her team. Believe Susan's claims of sexual harassment, or don't;
Kathy's comment is pretty petty. However, Kathy's biggest mistake was in
allying with a very fair-weather alliance. Not only did Lex flip-flop so
many times you wondered who was friend or foe --culminating in him helping
to boot alliance member Jerri instead of Amber-- but it wasn't uncommon
for her own alliance to turn on one another entirely. Just last week,
Kathy cried that she'd give immunity to Lex, only to (however
understandably) keep it for herself at the eleventh hour. No surprise,
then, that when she was on the chopping block this episode, even alliance
member Shii-Ann voted for her to go. So much for alliances, eh? Booted Off:
11th High Point : Right up to her
boot-off, she seemed a lot more on the offensive than the defensive this
time around. Low Point: On the other
hand, it was that sense of vulnerability that made her so sympathetic in
the prior season. Now, she just seemed obnoxious. Rating :

Alicia. Best
One-Line Summary : Good luck for Shii-Ann; bad luck for Alicia!
My Comments:
Not much to say for Alicia than that the writing was on the wall. It
was made clear in this episode that next to Get-Out-Of-Jail-Free-Card Shii-Ann
--i.e., the only non-alliance member still in the game-- Alicia was the
LVP of her tribe, or so her tribe felt. Then Shii-Ann gets immunity, and
the alliance has to begin cannibalizing its members prematurely. A viewer
might conclude that, had Shii-Ann left as planned this episode, Alicia
would've gone in the next episode, anyway. However, the real truth of the
matter is that Alicia could've turned the tides in her favor, very easily,
and allied with Big Tom and the like, to boot off Rob. Instead, she
decided to vote for Rupert. Rupert...?!? Let's put it this way; she left
unanimously, with only Alicia voting for Rupert. Bad call, Alicia. Sorry. Booted Off:
12th High Point : She stayed in the
game a full five tribal councils longer than she did in Survivor: Australia.
That's got to count for something. Low Point:
Yet she would've stayed even longer, had she intelligently lobbied to have
Rob or maybe even Big Tom go; not Rupert. Rupert...?!? Rating :

Shii-Ann. Best
One-Line Summary : In her own words, "Shii-Devil" is
the best nickname. My Comments:
Once again I'm reminded of Shii-Ann's own words, during her time on Survivor
Thailand: "A wise man knows much but says little, a fool
knows nothing but says too much." While I wouldn't call Shii-Ann a
fool exactly, she certainly doesn't know when to say something...and when
not to. Her first good idea was in sparking some controversy within the
merged tribes; surely not everyone likes each other, right? The trouble
is, nobody likes a tattletale, and that's exactly how Shii-Ann looked,
when insulting every single teammate during tribal council.
I would dare say that with the right sales pitch at that point, she
could've had someone boot Rob, or Big Tom, or even Rupert, as the three
MVPs of the tribe. No such luck: Shii-Ann decided instead to insult Jenna
because she talked a lot, then to ensure Shii-Ann would snatch defeat from
the jaws of victory...she votes for Amber. Amber...?!? Why vote for Amber
when you just wasted so much time to insult Jenna? The lack of good
strategy here actually hurt to watch. Have fun in the jury Shii-Ann Booted Off:
13th High Point: The last of her tribe
left standing is nothing to frown on... Low Point:
When at least two votes seemed to almost purposely misspell your name as
"SHH-Ann," what can you say? Rating :

Tom. Best
One-Line Summary : Farewell, good friend... My Comments:
By this time in the game, if Rob M. wins it's because of luck. Booting
fellow ally Tom was a mistake to the utmost degree. If Tom was allied with
Rupert and Jenna (the other "two" allies) then Amber and Rob
were finished anyway. Instead, Rob and Amber ally with Jenna and Rupert to
boot Tom. Guh?!? He was Rob's ace in the hole! Other than that; did Tom
make a mistake? Sure; he forgot to tell one or the other "pair"
he was loyal to them. Looking back; maybe he should've just allied with
Jenna and Rupert. Why didn't he...? Well, as he said in his farewell
speech, he had allied with fair weather friends, yet remained a good
friend to the end. In Survivor, sad to say, that's always dangerous
strategy. Sorry, Big Tom. Booted Off:
14th High Point: Far more congenial
and likeable in this game than he was in Survivor Africa. Don't argue; in
Africa, at one point, he put a feather in the crack of his...oh, never
mind. Low Point:
When Rob was ready to turn his back on Tom, it was a mistake for Tom to
not turn his back on an alliance that was no longer there. He could've
been in the game, still, if Rupert and Jenna allied with Tom. In fact the
whole final two would've changed. Rating :

Rupert. Best
One-Line Summary : America has spoken: he's the winner. So
there! My Comments:
I don't know what's worse; being booted off in a "Pagonged"
sort of way (your alliance is smaller), booted off by being stabbed in the
back, or booted because, for all intent and purpose, your once-loyal
alliance member is scared of (no joke) a small, purple stone. Here's the
deal: Due to stupid strategy on the part of Rob and Amber, it was now tied
2-to-2, with Rupert and Jenna in the opposing alliance, now that they all voted for "swing vote" Tom to go. That meant that the vote would
tie, and in typical gambler's fashion, it would come down to simple good
luck, when all four (yes, all four: remember Paschal in Survivor
Marquesas?) pull stones, and the odd-colored stone leaves. Jenna
is all "I've come too far to lose because of a stone," and boots
Rupert, without thinking of how Rupert was her sole chance at the final
two. Seriously; did Jenna have any chance other than Rob/Amber pulling a
purple stone? NO. Yet she practically gives them the money anyway, by
voting off Rupert. As for Rupert: what can I say that I didn't
already say, just a few months ago, for my review of Survivor
Pearl Islands? The man rocks...pun not intended. In the end,
however, the producers cave into public demand and allow us all to vote
for another contestant to win a million dollars. America's choice? Rupert.
Case closed. On to the next season. Booted Off:
15th...yet still won a million thanks to the "America's Tribal
Council" post-show... High Point: Unlike many other
contestants on this season, our (good) original opinions of Rupert have not been
swayed in the least; a compliment I cannot, admittedly, make for a single
other contestant this season. Low Point:
I sense a sort of "tortoise and hare" dilemma here that did
Rupert in at the eleventh hour. No way Rob could've swayed Jenna's vote
unless Rupert didn't press the issue, which he should have. There's any
number of arguments for Jenna keeping Rupert, purple stones or not. To
have her vote of Rupert is in my opinion proof she never heard them.

Jenna. Best
One-Line Summary : Purple stones? Why, I love purple stones! No
wait...that was my chance to stay in the game, yesterday... My Comments:
There are high rollers and then there are high rollers. The only way
Jenna could've stayed in the game is if she either won the final immunity
challenge --not likely-- or if she stayed to her Rupert alliances and let
the dead-even-tie drawing of stones decide who was going to go. When you
think of it, at worst she had a 3 out of 4 chance --or at worst, 2 out of
3-- of staying in the game. Instead, she chose the easy route and helped
the unwavering Rob/Amber alliance boot Rupert. Trouble is, when one
inevitably got immunity, what was her chances of staying in the game?
None. She really should've tried for that purple stone. At least then,
maybe, she would've had a chance. Heck; at least she would've had 100
grand. That's no pittance. Booted Off:
16th High Point: Overall, she really
played the game better than she did the first season. In fact, out of many
first season return players, she lasted the longest, which is saying
something. Low Point: The truth can
often hurt; as the (admit it) sole reason for Rupert's ouster, her
popularity can go nowhere but down. Rating :

Rob M. Best
One-Line Summary : "The Robfather"...? My Comments:
Some time back, Rob was a guy who
couldn't make the sale; that sale being convincing an overwhelming
majority of LVPs to boot Registered Nurse John, and his in-the-minority alliance that, sadly, wouldn't
be ousted until the tribal council after Rob had already left. Jump
ahead to All-Stars, when as host Jeff Probst put it in the reunion show,
Rob was the one all-star who really changed his game strategies...in a
good way. His only failure was, in the end, not being able to swing one
single vote; he lost the million in a very close vote of 3-to-4. Yes, some
of this new strategy involved a little underhandedness during the game. However,
when seeing how cute he and Amber look together; who couldn't forgive him for a little
underhanded play during the game...if just a little? Booted Off:
The 100 thousand dollar winner, in the "final two." High Point:
His proposal on Live TV to Amber was all the more sweet when, at the
time, neither had any idea who would win the million dollars. In addition:
what can I say? Even when he was at his worst, he made for great reality
TV. Low Point:
In the end, Rob was right about Big Tom being a swing vote, though at the
wrong time; it was Big Tom's vote that would help Amber win the million. Rating:

Amber. Best
One-Line Summary : The Robmother...? My Comments:
It's hard to forget Amber from Survivor Australian
Outback. How
nice is nice? Let's put it this way: in a day and age when everyone loved
to hate Jerri, Amber allied with Jerri. That's pretty nice. This
season, she goes one further, and allies with Rob, even when he was caught
doing some pretty underhanded things. Still, it's clear she's crazy about
the guy, because, come on; why would she stay with a mere alliance of two,
otherwise? Yet this mere alliance of two kept them together as a team
