Submissions : The RULES
This
is mostly just "legalese' to avoid misunderstandings. Let's be fair; there's no need for shirt, shoes, a tie, or even underwear. These rules are pretty
fair, eh?
- A submission is not a guaranteed online review.
All reviews must pertain to the following rules, right?
- e-mail address...? Not
required, but if you want to know when we post your review we
will of course need it.
- Submissions can also be for
"departments." This includes "What
Went Wrong," editorials ("My 2 Bits"), blurbs
(Dots & Slashes), and so on. Just be sure to mention that's what
you want your submission used for, somewhere in the main text.
- Do NOT "review" other
reviews! Don't waste
space insulting
that dirty-so-and-so who wrote an opposing review. You can of course
disagree with another review, but be civil and don't get too
"personal."
- Tell us the product you're
reviewing! I
don't know why I'd have to say this as a rule but it happens. Also:
be sure to tell us if you're reviewing, say, a video game, a movie,
or a TV show, because most titles are alike.
- Is there a maximum for reviews per
product? We'll cross that bridge when we come to it, but...not
really.
- All submissions can be used by
Techtite.com indefinitely.
If you get your own web site someday you are of course able to use
all your own reviews, but don't suddenly say, "I have my own
web site so please delete my reviews on your site now, ha-ha!"
That would be, well...mean.
- Techtite.com reserves the right to update these rules at any
time. Guest Reviews not put on the site by that time must
pertain to the updated rules. (Just some added legalese, really).
- If any fraud is discovered in a
submission, Techtite.com reserves the right to remove that review.
This includes reviews that aren't really yours, reviews that are
proven to be bogus or a "joke," etc.
- Lastly, the dreaded (yet necessary) legalese rule: this offer
can be cancelled at any time, without notice. ...Though we'll
burn that bridge only when we really have to.
FAIR ENOUGH?
