Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis

(LucasArts, 1992)

Another member of Techtite's list of Top 50 Multimedia Classics, this game was almost as fun as the best Indy films; far better than Indy and the Temple of Doom, at least! Adding to the fun was Sophia Hapgood; an amalgam of all the movie girlfriends Indy Jones has had. The major thrill of the game was its three separate storyline paths, leading to the style of puzzles that you prefer : conversations, problem solving, or action game elements. By the end, all plot branches combine, for an amusing bunch of multiple possible endings...the best of them, IMHO, being one of the best game endings, ever.

Rating : Deep Impact.
