Jill of the Jungle

(Epic MegaGames, 1992)
 If
Epic MegaGames (the makers of the ever-popular Unreal
game series) ever wanted to enter the 3rd-person game market
of Tomb Raider clones, choosing
a character to be in the games would be no problem at all; just bring back
Jill of the Jungle! Probably second only to Sundog
as a classic game I'd love to see a modern, 3D remake of, this
was as fun as it was challenging. It involved a sort of "female
Tarzan," who must traverse various obstacles to save a fair
prince from enemy forces. The ending, of course, leads to the
prince proposing and a cute finale; the real fun, however,
was the game itself. Although 2D "scrollers" aren't
as popular as they once were, this game's only flaw is that it
isn't compatible with most modern sound cards, as well as a few
modern joysticks and game pads. However, it was still a cool
game, that is even on Techtite's listing of Top
50 Multimedia Classics. IMHO, A remake would be cool
(hint, hint!!!)...
