Outlaws

(LucasArts, 1997)

One of the best Old West games ever made, this game played not unlike a typical revenge western like Unforgiven. It also wisely used the same 3D game engine that made Dark Forces. In this game, a greedy land baron was so intent on getting your land, he attacked your home, kidnapped your little girl, and killed your wife...big mistake! With a mere six shooter in hand, you go from town to town in the ol' West (with dramatic music like an old west movie playing in the background) and engage in shootouts galore, with many seedy criminals. An amusing happy ending, and many secret areas to find (Max the Bunny makes an "Easter Egg" cameo, as "Bandito Max") make this one of the better games LucasArts ever made!
