National Lampoon's Blind Date
(3 Vision Interactive Pictures, 1994)
How stupid is it to want to make a "clone" of the
game that is Techtite's choice for Worst Game in Gaming History...?
That's what 3 Vision apparently set out to do, when making a
game that resembles Tsunami's hideous, beyond-bad Man Enough. Well, at least this
time you "date" a rather cute actress/model, and not
Man Enough's poster girls for Prozac. In addition,
the graphics are not merely slide-show pics, and include actual
Quicktime video of the "date" as it progresses. All
you have to do is make the right replies as she talks to you.
The problem is, the only puzzle here is conversation arcs
(every once in a while, you must choose between 2-4 possible
replies), which isn't much of a game; not enough to recommend.
